It is also known as the most beautiful maze in the world - Venice, the city built on water. The Grand Canal, which runs through the city in an inverted S-shape, is the main artery for gondolas and vaporetti, the floating buses - but the city actually wants to be walked through. Signs point you from everywhere to St. Mark's Square and back; if you deviate from the main path, you will quickly get lost, but also discover new things. Nevertheless, you haven't experienced Venice if you haven't seen St. Mark's Square. The square is dominated by the magnificent St. Mark's Basilica with its five imposing domes. The quadriga, four bronze horses that once crowned Trajan's Arch in Rome and later stood in the imperial hippodrome in Constantinople, stands proudly on its loggia. The Doge's Palace rises majestically next to the church. From here, it is just a stone's throw to the Rialto Bridge, which crosses the narrowest part of the Grand Canal and connects the districts of San Marco and San Polo.

What is insured?
You cannot or not as scheduled commence your journey because of the following event.
- Death, severe accidental injury
- Unexpected severe illness, Intolerance to a vaccine, pregnancy
- Damage to your property as a result of fire, elementary, event or intent criminal of a third party
What will be replaced?
- In case of non-commencement of the journey, we replace you among other things the contractually owed travel cancellation costs
- In case of interruption of journey, we replace the provable incurrend additional return travel costs as well as proportionally unused travel services.
Deductible: For insurance premiums without a deductible, 100% reimbursement for all insured events. For insurance premiums with a partial deductible: For illness treated on an outpatient basis, the deductible is 20% of the reimbursable claim, but at least EUR 25 per insured person. No deductible i all other cases.

Connecting flights
In addition to the departure airport listed in the itinerary, other departure airports can also be booked subject to availability. The costs for the connecting flights depend on whether the flights are operated with scheduled flight connections or with special flights (full charter flights or so-called leisure airlines such as Condor):

Baggage regulations
All flights have a minimum baggage allowance of 20 kg per person. The free baggage allowance varies depending on the airline. You will receive details with your travel documents.
Seat reservations
Seat reservations for scheduled flights cannot be made by Plantours. On most scheduled flights, you can check in online on the airline's website one to two days before departure and reserve a seat in advance. To do this, you will need the six-digit booking code, which you will find on the ticket in your travel documents. If you are unable to check in online, your seat will be allocated at the check-in counter at the airport.
Name details on the flight ticket
As a general rule, your full first name and surname must match the name on your identification document (passport or ID card). You are responsible for ensuring that this is the case. Therefore, please check your booking confirmation to ensure that your name is complete and correct. Cancellations, name changes or rebookings made 8 weeks or more before departure will incur a fee of at least €100 per person and ticket.
Flight schedule, program changes and errors excepted. Arrival and departure days serve exclusively to provide the contractual transportation services. Depending on the airline and flight duration, on-board catering and drinks are only offered against payment. As at June 2024..

Ein besonderes Erlebnis – das Kapitäns-Dinner
Wir pflegen auf der HAMBURG die Tradition des Kapitän-Dinners. Zwei Mal auf jeder Reise ist dieses Gala-Dinner das abendliche Highlight. Anlass für das festliche Ambiente ist das Ankommen neuer Gäste und das herzliche Verabschieden am Ende einer jeden Kreuzfahrt und nach vielen gemeinsamen Erlebnissen. Gerne präsentieren sich zu dieser Gelegenheit unser erfahrener Kapitän und die gesamte Mannschaft der HAMBURG.

MS HAMBURG Weine an Bord: Rotwein und Weißwein aus exklusiver Abfüllung vom Weingut gorgo
"Die Weinkelter wird vom Eigentümer selbst geleitet, der sich dabei seit mittlerweile fast dreißig Jahren von einem Önologen seines Vertrauens beraten lässt.
Das Anbauverfahren auf dem Weingut steht in enger Verbindung mit den lokalen Traditionen. Es werden nur organische Dünger verwendet und der Boden wird vor allem in den jungen Weinpflanzungen durch Fräsen sauber gehalten. Die Weinlese wird praktisch nur von Hand durchgeführt und zieht sich deshalb für gewöhnlich auch 30-45 Tage hin, sodass die Trauben an einigen besonderen Standorten die Gelegenheit haben, voll auszureifen bis hin zur "Überreife" der Trauben, aus denen der Moscato Rosé gekeltert wird."

Selbstverständlich liegen an Deck für Sie täglich frische Badetücher griffbereit.

Gesund und munter bleiben Sie im lichtdurchfluteten Fitnessraum auf dem Sonnendeck. Mit Blick auf das Meer unterstützen moderne Sportgeräte, wie ein Crosstrainer, zwei Laufbänder, ein Ergometer und ein Liegeergometer, Ihre Ausdauer und tägliches Work-out. Wir wünschen viel Spaß beim Sport!
Saunabereich
Einfach mal abschalten, nach einem erlebnisreichen Landausflug neue Kräfte tanken und den Alltag vergessen: Im Saunabereich können Sie die Seele baumeln lassen und entspannte Stunden verbringen, und das schon ab 08.00 Uhr am Morgen. Die Sauna erwartet Sie auf Deck 1, die Nutzung des Wellness- Bereiches ist im Reisepreis enthalten.
Massagen - Kosmetische Behandlungen
Gut durchwärmt nach einem Sonnenbad oder Saunabesuch stehen Ihnen vielfältige Anwendungen, wie Massagen oder kosmetische Behandlungen zur Wahl. Das Kosmetik- und Friseurstudio steht Ihnen für die Anmeldung zur Verfügung und berät Sie gerne zu dem gewünschten Programm.
Medizinische Betreuung/ Wellness-Angebote

Die abwechslungsreichen Aktivitäten der HAMBURG sind im täglichen Bordprogramm aufgeführt. Dieses erhalten Sie an jedem neuen Urlaubstag direkt auf Ihre Kabine. Mit viel Erfahrung stellt die Kreuzfahrtleitung das Tagesangebot aktuell und passend zusammen, stets mit Blick auf Ihr Ausflugsprogramm an Land und manchmal auch auf das Wetter.
Die Landausflüge organisiert unser professionelles Team vom Bordreisebüro. Auch Ihre Reiseleitung berät Sie gerne. Ein Foto- und Videoteam begleitet Sie täglich bei Ausflügen und Aktivitäten und stellt Ihnen die bildhaften Erinnerungen zum Ende der Kreuzfahrt für ein entsprechendes Entgelt bereit.
Die Traditionsspiele Shuffleboard und Dart spielen wir an Deck der HAMBURG. Vor einer schönen Küste oder beim Sonnenuntergang mit einem Glas Cocktail ist dies eine wunderbar entspannende Beschäftigung.
Fahrräder und Nordic Walking-Stöcke stehen für Ihren Landgang zum Verleih bei unserem Concierge bereit. Andere Länder, andere Sitten: Bitte beachten Sie, dass eine behördliche Genehmigung des jeweiligen Hafens für die Nutzung notwendig ist. Für die Fahrräder und Stöcke fällt eine Leihgebühr von 10,-€ pro Person und Landgang an.
An Seetagen gibt die Galerie auf Deck 5 Gelegenheit zum Flanieren und zur Muße. In der kleinen Bordboutique können Sie neben Dingen des täglichen Bedarfs auch Geschenkartikel in kleiner Auswahl kaufen. Im Hafen muss die Boutique aus zollrechtlichen Gründen geschlossen bleiben.
Der Internet-Desk mit PC in der Bibliothek bietet eine schnelle Verbindung ins Büro oder zur Familie. Die Bibliothek führt eine bunte Buchauswahl und Sie können im gemütlichen Sessel und in aller Ruhe in die Welt der Literatur, Krimis oder Reiseführer versinken. Für gesellige Runden oder kurzweilige Beschäftigung allein steht hier auch eine kleine Auswahl an Brett- und Kartenspielen zur Verfügung.
